Brookestone View in Broken Bow, NE seeks an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services, mentor staff, and uphold high clinical standards in a compassionate long-term care setting.

The DON oversees regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and resident-centered care plans, partnering with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to drive excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations and clinical services.

Position Overview

The Director of Nursing provides strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services within the community. This individual is responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing nursing staff, and fostering a culture centered on quality care and resident dignity.

Working closely with physicians, department leaders, residents, and families, the DON helps drive exceptional clinical outcomes while promoting teamwork and accountability throughout the nursing department.

Preferred

• Previous Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or other nursing leadership experience.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or senior living settings.
• Familiarity with regulatory surveys, Medicare guidelines, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
