Job summary

Alcester Care & Rehab is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead and coordinate the nursing department, ensuring 24-hour quality care for residents. The Nurse Manager will supervise licensed and non-licensed staff, plan and implement policies, and drive programs that promote resident independence.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a collaborative team, while staying compliant with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops nursing service objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure high quality care.
• Determines staffing levels and monitors provision of nursing care.
• Oversees administrative functions in the Nursing Department.
• Develops educational programs within the nursing department to promote staff development.
• Maintains an effective quality assurance program.
• Ensures compliance with State/Federal rules and regulations.
