Job summary

Las Cruces Recovery Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead its nursing team at the Las Cruces, NM facility. This role ensures safe, high-quality patient care, develops policies, manages staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with executive leadership to advance the center's clinical mission.

The Director of Nursing will oversee medication management, infection control, risk management, and staff development, while aligning operations with accreditation

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Three+ years of nursing practice experience; psychiatric/behavioral health experience preferred.
• RN license in state or compact state; CPR and de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Sets the vision for nursing practice and patient care.
• Manages daily nursing operations and staffing.
• Oversees medication management and safety compliance.
• Collaborates with leadership and participates in budget planning.
• Ensures infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees staff performance, coaching, and development.
• Provides on-site coverage as needed and crisis intervention.
