Job summary

Abercorn Rehabilitation Center, LLC in Savannah, GA is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting. You will oversee nursing care, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and budget while mentoring staff and serving as a Backup to the Nursing Home Administrator.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree.
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• 1+ years nursing leadership experience.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing/sub-acute setting preferred.
• Proficient in PC use; navigate Windows, MS Office; EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services in a long-term care and skilled center.
• Plan, coordinate and manage the clinical department; ensure quality care and regulatory compliance; manage budget; lead clinical staff; back up Nursing Home Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units).
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget, and will provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff and will serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
• One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
