Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced RN leader to guide nursing services in a long-term care/sub-acute setting. This full-time role supports the Nursing Home Administrator and coordinates clinical staff to deliver quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN or higher, is an active RN in North Carolina, with 1+ year of nursing leadership and proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office. Competitive benefits and mentoring provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above is required.
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• 1+ year nursing leadership experience required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing/sub-acute care preferred.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office and EMR software is required.

• Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care in a long-term care and skilled nursing/sub-acute center.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all clinical department aspects, ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and budget oversight; oversee clinical staff and back up Nursing Home Administrator.

Qualifications

• One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
