Director of Nursing - Skilled Nursing Facility

$190,000 - $210,000 + Bonus

We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for a leading provider of Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Long-Term care. The role will be responsible for the overall management of clinical care for residents within a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Philadelphia County, PA. The company which operate the facility have over 40 facilities in their portfolio that offer rare stability in the LTC market via their ownership of the buildings, ancillary services and leading on the operations of their own facilities.

Relevant experience and responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of local, state and federal regulations governing the delivery of healthcare services.
• Registered Nurse in the state of PA.
• Understanding of age-specific developmental factors in adults and geriatrics
• Experience caring for residents with the following healthcare needs: Therapeutic, Neuro and Dementia, Dialysis, IV therapy, Infectious disease and wound care.
• Ability to work under the direction of a Licensed Administrator to deliver care to residents in line with company policy.
• Working with the Administrator to hire, train and develop nursing and care staff.
• Development of nurses to enhance their clinical knowledge and ability to deliver top class care to residents.
• Understanding of current Health Department Directives and ability to relay these to staff.
