Job summary

The Gilder Search Group is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role overseeing clinical quality, staffing, survey readiness, and day-to-day nursing operations.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Maryland RN license, have leadership experience in long-term care, and demonstrate strong budgeting, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license in good standing.
• Leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care setting (DON or ADON preferred).
• Working knowledge of state and federal regulations, survey process, and MDS.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise the nursing team.
• Ensure clinical quality, compliance, and survey readiness.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and the nursing budget.
• Oversee care planning and resident outcomes.
• Partner with the administrator and interdisciplinary team.
