Hillcrest Health & Living in Papillion, NE, seeks an experienced Director of Nursing to lead the clinical team at Hillcrest Country Estates. You will set strategic direction for nursing services, ensure high-quality resident care, and partner with the administrator to drive outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold Nebraska RN licensure, DON/ADON experience, and a track record of regulatory compliance; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska.
• Leadership experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, senior living or post-acute care.
• DON or ADON experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, survey processes, quality measures, and clinical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for nursing services across the community.
• Ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Lead, coach, develop, and support nurses, clinical leaders, and care team members.
• Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee clinical operations, staffing, scheduling, and nursing workflows.
• Monitor quality measures, clinical trends, documentation, and performance improvement opportunities.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for an experienced, driven, and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead the clinical team at Hillcrest Country Estates in Papillion, NE.

What You’ll Do

You Will

• Support care planning, resident condition management, and effective communication with residents and families.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, service excellence, and clinical pride.
• Identify barriers, solve problems, and implement process improvements that support better outcomes.
• Serve as a visible, hands‑on clinical leader who builds trust with team members, residents, families, and providers.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Active RN license in Nebraska required.
• Previous nursing leadership experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, senior living, or post‑acute care.
• DON or ADON experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, survey processes, quality measures, and clinical compliance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build trust, and drive results.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while staying focused on resident care and team support.
• A collaborative leadership style with the confidence to hold teams accountable.
• Commitment to service excellence, resident satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Education & Credentials

• Active Registered Nurse license in Nebraska required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current CPR certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Previous long‑term care or skilled nursing leadership experience preferred.
