Job summary

Hillcrest Health Services is seeking an experienced Administrator to lead operations at Hillcrest Country Estates in Papillion, NE. You will direct daily activities, manage fiscal performance, and ensure regulatory compliance while prioritizing resident and family satisfaction.

This role requires five+ years in senior care leadership, expertise with Medicare/Medicaid, and a track record of building strong teams and improving quality.

Qualifications

  • Five years of leadership or management experience in a skilled nursing, acute care, or post-acute setting at the Administrator level.
  • Two years of knowledge and experience with Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Experience with federal and state skilled nursing regulations.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance, compliance, survey readiness, and operational performance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, build trust, and create a strong service culture.
  • Experience managing budgets, revenue, expenses, labor, and fiscal outcomes.
  • Strong communication, presentation, coaching, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for daily operations, fiscal performance, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.

  • Identify operational risks and implement strategies to support safety for residents, guests, team members, and visitors.
  • Oversee maintenance and condition of the physical plant, furniture, fixtures, and service areas.
  • Partner across service lines to support effective customer transitions and continuity of care.
  • Conduct tours and support sales of long-term care and independent living options.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for residents, guests, families, and prospective customers throughout admission and transition process.
  • Initiate and maintain a referral development plan to support census goals and community partnerships.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for an experienced, strategic, and people-focused Administrator to lead operations at Hillcrest Country Estates in Papillion, NE.

What You’ll Do

As the Administrator, you will plan, coordinate, direct, supervise, and oversee operations for Hillcrest Country Estates. You will have responsibility for fiscal performance, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, physical plant operations, customer experience, team member engagement, and overall service line performance.

You will:

Provide overall leadership and accountability for daily operations, fiscal performance, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure services are delivered in accordance with state, federal, local, and organizational standards.

Lead Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement processes that support strong customer satisfaction, quality care, and compliance.

Maintain survey readiness related to licensure, Medicaid, Medicare, OSHA, labor, life safety, and other regulatory expectations.

Lead, coach, develop, and engage team members while building high-performing teams.

Support effective hiring, onboarding, performance management, conflict resolution, and team communication.

Plan, direct, control, and monitor budgeting, revenue, expenses, and fiscal management processes.

Identify operational risks and implement strategies to support safety for residents, guests, team members, and visitors.

Oversee the proactive maintenance, presentation, and overall condition of the physical plant, furniture, fixtures, and service areas.

Partner across service lines to support effective customer transitions and continuity of care.

Conduct tours and support sales of Hillcrest Country Estates’ long-term care and independent living options.

Serve as a resource and advocate for residents, guests, families, and prospective customers throughout the admission and transition process.

Initiate and maintain a referral development plan to support census goals and strong community partnerships.

Participate in or lead external marketing events to maintain referral relationships and community presence.

Model strong leadership through planning, organization, critical thinking, change management, problem-solving, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality.

Education & Credentials

Participatory membership in Nebraska Health Care Association and American Health Care Association required.
