Hillcrest Country Estates Cottages is recruiting an RN or LPN to join the team in Papillion, NE. You will provide individualized nursing care across 12-hour shifts (days, evenings, overnights) in a cottage-style setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska or a compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care based on individualized plans.
• Complete treatments and administer medications timely and per procedures.
• Use electronic documentation and medication systems accurately.
• Monitor residents and communicate changes promptly.
• Complete weekly assessments and updated care plans.
• Collaborate with Nurse Techs and interdisciplinary team.
• Attend daily huddles and support resident needs.
• Lead and support the care team during shifts.

RN / LPN – Hillcrest Country Estates Cottages - 12 hour shifts

Location: 6082 Grand Lodge Ave, Papillion, NE 68133

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | Days, Evenings, and Overnights Available

Hillcrest Country Estates Cottages is part of the Hillcrest Country Estates campus and provides skilled nursing, long-term care, and post-acute support in a warm, home-like environment. What You’ll Do

As an RN or LPN, you will provide clinical nursing care to residents and guests while supporting the daily operations of the nursing team. You will help identify each person’s strengths, support independence, and partner with the care team to deliver thoughtful, resident-centered care.

You Will

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care based on each resident’s individualized plan of care.
• Complete prescribed treatments and ensure medications are administered timely, privately, and according to facility procedures.
• Use electronic medication administration and clinical documentation systems accurately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Support skin integrity by following skin-care policies, completing skin rounds, and documenting accurately.
• Complete weekly assessments and other required documentation in a timely, accurate, and concise manner.
• Review and update care plans as resident needs, conditions, or goals change.
• Complete admission care plans and support smooth transitions of care.
• Partner with Nurse Techs, Medication Aides, therapy, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure care is completed.
• Attend daily huddles and collaborate with cottage and community team members to support resident needs.
• Use clinical judgment and tools such as INTERACT to help manage changes in resident condition.
• Participate in nurse meetings, facility in-services, competencies, and ongoing professional development.
• Help create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents, families, and team members.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• An active RN or LPN license in Nebraska or a compact state.

• Strong attention to detail with documentation, medication administration, and follow-through.

• Previous long-term care, post-acute, hospital, senior living, or similar experience preferred.

Education & Credentials

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in Nebraska or a compact state required.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required.
