Odin Health & Rehab Center in Odin, IL seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and drive a resident‑centered care strategy. This full‑time leadership role guides staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports strategic planning and staff development.

The ideal candidate is an Illinois‑licensed RN with prior nursing leadership experience in a long‑term care setting, and a passion for high‑quality resident care and team mentorship.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior nursing leadership experience, preferably in long‑term care.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Team‑oriented leader with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support nursing staff in a resident‑centered environment.
• Ensure patient care meets local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee nursing compliance and contribute to strategic facility planning.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff while implementing policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and families to ensure quality care outcomes.
• Support quality assurance, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and leadership focused on resident safety and staff development.

Odin Health & Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team!

The Director of Nursing is a key member of the Odin Health & Rehab leadership team and plays a vital role in coordinating a patient-centered nursing strategy focused on delivering exceptional resident care. This leadership position contributes to the facility’s strategic planning, supports organizational goals, and helps guide and mentor nursing staff in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Team-oriented leader passionate about quality resident care
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
