Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New York is seeking a Resident Care Director (RN) to serve as the clinical leader of the community, overseeing health, wellness and care coordination to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.

This role drives regulatory compliance, CLIA and infection control leadership, staff recruitment and development, and manages staffing, scheduling and department budget, while partnering with sales to assess move-in appropriateness.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience leading clinical teams in senior living or similar.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor care programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing team and all care programs.
• Conduct resident assessments and oversee ISP.
• Monitor changes in condition and coordinate with physicians.
• Oversee medication management and infection control programs.
• Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable.
• Drive QAPI initiatives and performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget.
• Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness.

Pay Range:

101,608.00 - 140,296.00
