About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team. This is a rare opportunity to make a profound impact on resident care and staff development in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all clinical and operational activities of the Nursing Department in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and all relevant regulations
Conduct daily rounds on the unit to ensure the highest quality of resident care
Hire, discipline, evaluate, and develop nursing staff; oversee recruitment and retention initiatives
Facilitate meetings and committees to address resident care and operational issues
Review and approve payroll, manage department budget, and monitor expenses
Ensure adherence to all clinical protocols, policies, and standards of care
Develop and manage systems for clinical competencies, staff scheduling, and nurse-on-call coverage
Proactively address survey and compliance issues; participate in performance improvement programs
Guide professional development and continuing education for nursing staff
Resolve concerns from residents, families, and employees
Assume full responsibility for the Center in the Administrator’s absence

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
Valid CPR certification
Minimum three years’ experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or equivalent supervisory role in a skilled nursing facility (required)
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of state/federal regulations and nursing standards
