As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all aspects of clinical care within the Facility, ensuring compliance, excellence in care delivery, and a positive, team-oriented environment.
Your key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing the nursing department, ensuring high standards of resident care and regulatory compliance
Collaborating with the Administrator to establish and execute clinical goals and strategic initiatives
Coaching, mentoring, and empowering nursing staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Developing, monitoring, and managing the nursing department budget
Addressing and resolving resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism
Serving as a key decision-maker in clinical operations, care planning, and quality improvement efforts
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
Current RN license in the state of Nebraska or a compact state
Minimum 5 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility – preferred
Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience (DON, ADON, or Unit Manager) – preferred
Strong critical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills
