Job summary

Harborview Health Systems, a faith-based provider, seeks a Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. The role requires overseeing staff, policies, and regulatory compliance while maintaining ethical standards and strong documentation controls.

The DON will coordinate with physicians, manage shifts, and apply anatomy knowledge to assess conditions and treatment plans, including hospice and acute care support where needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with at least 5 years in nursing homes.
• 2+ years in a Director of Nursing role.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of medical records management.
• Experience with shift management and scheduling.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Understanding of resident rights and ethical practices

• Comprehensive anatomy knowledge for patient assessment

• Experience in hospice care and acute care settings
