Your Job Summary:

The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee the administration and management of Nursing Services, ensuring quality care in accordance with physician orders and resident needs. Responsibilities include 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services, maintaining standards per Federal, State, and Company regulations, and stepping in for center operations when the Administrator is absent. The role involves conducting the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—under the scope of the State’s Nurse Practice Act for Registered Nurses. Apply today!

• Coordinate comprehensive care plans for residents, complying with physician’s orders, regulations, and policies.
• Communicate policies to nursing staff and monitor practice adherence.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents.
• Attend management meetings to discuss resident status, census, staffing, and concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
