Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing staff and oversee patient care in a faith-based environment. The role focuses on staffing, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality resident care across hospice and acute services.

The DON will manage staffing, ensure accurate medical records, collaborate with physicians, and uphold ethical standards while driving continuous improvement in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with at least 5 years nursing home experience, 2 years as DON
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• In-depth knowledge of medical records management
• Proficiency in shift management and scheduling
• Experience supervising nursing staff and collaborating with physicians
• Understanding of resident rights and ethical practices
• Comprehensive anatomy knowledge for patient assessment
• Experience in hospice care and acute care settings

Responsibilities
