Job summary

Clearbrook Wellness Center in Florida is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing team, ensure high-quality resident care, and drive strong clinical outcomes.

You will oversee nursing operations, mentor staff, ensure licensure, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve care and operations.

This role requires an RN with a Bachelor's degree and leadership experience in skilled nursing; on‑call duties and possible nights/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Current RN licensure and at least 2 years of leadership in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to participate in on-call; may require nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, compliance, and best practices.

About the Director of Nursing RN(DON) Role

The Director of Nursing serves as the clinical leader of the facility, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care. This role oversees nursing operations, supports staff development, and promotes a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all nursing care operations within the facility.

• Develop, implement, and uphold nursing policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

• Mentor, coach, and support the nursing team through regular feedback and performance evaluations.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive work culture.

• Ensure nursing staff maintain required licensure and certifications.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident care and operational outcomes.

• Analyze patient care data to guide quality improvement efforts.

• Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively.

• Work with facility leadership to achieve clinical and organizational goals.

• Ensure residents consistently receive compassionate, high-quality nursing care.

Qualifications
