**Job Summary: **
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care to residents in our nursing home facility. The Director of Nursing will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services and maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction.

**Responsibilities: **
1. **Clinical Leadership: **
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans based on residents' individual needs.

2. **Staff Management: **
- Recruit, train, and supervise nursing personnel, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional growth and development.

3. **Regulatory Compliance: **
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing nursing home facilities.
- Stay informed about industry standards and best practices, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.

4. **Quality Assurance: **
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to assess and enhance the overall quality of nursing care.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

5. **Patient and Family Engagement: **
- Establish effective communication channels with residents and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents.

6. **Education and Training: **
- Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to ensure competency and adherence to best practices.
- Stay abreast of advancements in healthcare and implement relevant training programs.

7. **Budget Management:**
- Collaborate with the administrative team to develop and manage the nursing department budget.
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.

**Qualifications:**
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
- Degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in geriatric nursing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced and challenging healthcare environment.
