As the Director of Nursing, you will lead a dynamic nursing team with a focus on high-quality care, team development, and operational excellence. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping patient outcomes, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
Lead, coach, and mentor nursing staff to excellence in care and teamwork
Oversee daily clinical operations and staffing within budget guidelines
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
Promote exceptional patient care through staff education and training
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Champion quality improvement, best practices, and continuous learning
Handle hiring, performance reviews, and staff development
Maintain a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment
Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning
5+ years of full-time clinical experience, with 2+ years in leadership/supervision
Prior experience in hospital or mental health settings preferred
BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with EMR systems (Kipu a plus) and sound clinical judgment
Strong understanding of behavioral health practices and patient safety
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Clinical knowledge and confident decision-making
Team leadership and staff development
Budgeting and resource management
Patient advocacy and compassionate communication
Familiarity with glucometers, UDS, vital signs, med administration, etc.
