Highbridge Healthcare in Bridgeport, CT is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive clinical excellence across the facility.

The DON will mentor ADONs and unit managers, oversee staffing and performance improvement initiatives, and partner with leadership to manage costs while upholding state and federal standards. This role offers a premium compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in long-term care nursing management.
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes.
• Ability to educate and train staff on State and Federal regulations.
• Complete knowledge and understanding of the functions of a long-term care facility.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with regional and local clinical staff to establish quarterly and annual performance improvement goals and write quarterly QAPI plans
• Support and facilitate company values, practice standards, and ethics policies and procedures
• Conduct routine mock surveys and survey preparation to ensure compliance
• Act as mentor and coach for ADON and Unit Managers to ensure success at the facility
• Manage costs, ensure compliance with policies/procedures, and uphold State/Federal regulations and current standards of practice
