Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks a Director, Multi Line Risk Engineer to lead complex field surveys for middle-market clients, focusing on operations, exposures, and control adequacy.

You will deliver detailed assessments and loss-prevention recommendations to support profitability and client service. The role involves on-site and virtual surveys, collaboration with underwriters and brokers, and occasional SME duties.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Safety, Risk Management or comparable degree/experience.
• 7+ years of industry experience in a safety-related role; property and casualty insurance experience highly desired.
• Professional designations (ASP, CSP, CFPS, or ARM) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and virtual/phone surveys of prospects and clients evaluating complex exposures and controls for auto, general liability products liability, property and workers compensation.
• Summarize findings in internal reports with appropriate loss improvement recommendations.
• Conduct multi line loss analysis.
• Provide support and recommendations to underwriters, policyholders, and brokers.
• Prepare and conduct presentations to serviced accounts.
• Participate in special projects and possibly become a Subject Matter Expert.
