Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking a Director to join the Launch Operations team. You will design and run the Ops CI function, lead a network of CI managers, and drive cross-functional process improvements across fulfillment centers.

You will own a portfolio of high-impact projects, apply Lean/Six Sigma, set KPIs, and report outcomes to senior leadership. Travel 25–35% and mentor operations teams to sustain change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
• 8+ years in e-commerce fulfillment ops, inventory mgmt, and process optimization; 3+ years leading ops programs/projects.
• Strong leadership and track record of delivering results.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights with Excel/Sheets/Tableau.
• Proficiency with WMS and translating to ops processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration across orgs.
• Lean leadership and/or certification preferred.
• Wholesale/B2B fulfillment experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-35% for multi-site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Ops CI function across the network.
• Own portfolio of CI projects in fulfillment, onboarding, and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Define KPIs, track cost savings, throughput, and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with GMs and leaders to size opportunities and gain buy-in.
• Deliver CI training and change management programs for ops leaders.
• Lead merchant launch analysis, design, and oversight.
• Develop workflows and dashboards using Asana, Slack, Salesforce, and Google tools.
