Job summary

Investment Company Institute (ICI) seeks a senior leader to drive membership strategy and engagement across the organization. The role partners with the COO to develop recruitment, retention, and value-adding programs, while expanding membership across asset management firms and related entities.

You will steward communications, oversee dashboards and analytics, and lead a staff team focused on member engagement, renewal risk, and revenue forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 10 years of management experience with a trade association or similar organization.
• Experience in financial services and market dynamics is highly desirable.
• Strategic thinker with ability to translate member needs into priorities and outcomes.
• Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive strategy and decisions.
• Familiarity with asset management industry and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership strategy and report to the COO.
• Develop programs for recruitment, retention, and engagement of members.
• Deliver communications and materials to increase member understanding of resources.
• Monitor the asset management industry to identify new membership targets.
• Build relationships with member firms to deepen engagement and value proposition.
• Oversee revenue model and annual dues forecasting; perform segmentation analysis.
• Operate CRM and analytics dashboards; present data for leadership decisions.
• Manage Membership staff to build a high-performing team.
• Capture member priorities and translate into leadership insights.
• Guide responses to member inquiries and manage billing and publications.
