Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr

The Role

We’re seeking a Director of Media to lead our paid media initiatives focused on driving subscription growth. This person will serve as a strategic partner to our media agency and internal stakeholders, developing and executing comprehensive, data-informed media plans across channels. You’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing our media mix, driving performance, and staying ahead of the evolving media landscape.

What You’ll Do
  1. Lead Media Strategy & Execution
  2. Develop full-funnel, performance-driven media strategies in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  3. Oversee the end-to-end execution of paid media campaigns—from briefing and planning to optimization and reporting.
  4. Continuously monitor and refine media performance against KPIs to maximize efficiency and ROI.
  5. Manage cross-functional processes to ensure campaign alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
Drive Innovation
  1. Identify and implement emerging platforms, tools, and trends to enhance media effectiveness.
  2. Experiment with new approaches to drive breakthrough performance across digital, social, and programmatic channels.
Champion Thought Leadership
  1. Serve as a media subject matter expert, advising internal teams on best practices, trends, and innovations.
  2. Lead internal education on the evolving media landscape and new technologies.
  3. Represent Bloomberg Media’s media expertise externally with partners, agencies, and industry events.
Who You Are
  • A seasoned media strategist with deep experience in performance marketing and full-funnel campaign development.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, with a strong understanding of media analytics and attribution.
  • Collaborative, persuasive, and comfortable working cross-functionally at all levels.
  • Experienced in managing media agencies and vendor relationships to deliver outstanding outcomes.
