Job summary

M13 is seeking a Director of Marketing to turn ideas into measurable impact. You will lead a cohesive strategy spanning digital marketing, events, and network engagement, aligning senior leadership and partners to expand the firm’s ecosystem.

You’ll drive brand amplification, develop engagement plans for founders, LPs, and GPs, and integrate AI-powered tools to scale activities in a fast-paced venture capital environment. A hybrid NYC/LA presence is supported.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and brand strategies.
• Ability to analyze KPIs and adjust plans based on data.
• Experience aligning multiple stakeholders on a shared strategy and delivering large projects end-to-end.
• Experience building and growing professional networks or communities.

Responsibilities

• Learn, develop, and align firm-wide strategy with senior leadership.
• Lead brand amplification across digital and in-person channels.
• Own network growth and engagement via events, Slack, newsletters, and other channels.
• Coordinate with events production to deliver high-impact IRL experiences.
• Collaborate with the technology team to track reach and engagement, explore AI-powered tools.
• Provide clear cross-department communication and KPI-based prioritization.
• Make tough trade-offs based on strategic goals and measure progress.
