Hawaii Employers’ Mutual Insurance Company in Honolulu seeks a Director of Marketing to lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of marketing, branding, and communications across the parent company and its subsidiaries.

This senior role oversees campaigns, corporate communications, community engagement, and events, and manages outsourced PR efforts. It guides a small team and collaborates with executive leadership to strengthen brand awareness and drive growth.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading multi-brand or multi-entity marketing strategies is preferred.
• Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy across all entities.
• Partner with executive leadership to position the company as a trusted leader in the industry and community.
• Oversee brand standards and ensure consistency across internal and external communications.
• Manage marketing budget, vendor relationships, and outsourcing of PR efforts.
• Lead community relations, sponsorships, and corporate events to enhance brand visibility.
• Supervise the Marketing Specialist and mentor marketing staff.
