Job summary

Alloy Precision Technologies seeks a senior operations leader to manage manufacturing operations, services, and lean initiatives in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee planning, production, maintenance, and warehousing while driving quality, efficiency, and profitability.

The role requires a BS in a relevant field with 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing, with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proficiency in lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• BS in Operations Management, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of manufacturing management experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with computer database systems and Visual Manufacturing is a plus.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge required; Six Sigma is a plus; adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance, production planning, and warehouse functions.
• Establish quality and efficiency in production processes to meet performance objectives.
• Promote safety and environmental programs for manufacturing operations.
• Direct and provide feedback on production issues, opportunities, and delays; analyze and resolve problems.
• Design and implement on-time tracking systems to monitor schedules and profitability.
• Lead development and implementation of improved methods via lean manufacturing to reduce costs and improve profitability.
• Improve communication between corporate departments within areas of responsibility.
• Foster team-building, mentorship, delegation, and empowerment.
• Formulate annual operational objectives governing manufacturing, service, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with Customer, AS9100, and regulatory requirements; travel may be required.
