The University of Idaho in Moscow, ID is seeking a Director of Development I, CALS to expand major gift opportunities and lead a fundraising program within the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

You will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, conduct face-to-face visits, develop proposals, and secure gifts of $25,000+ from individuals, corporations, and foundations, while collaborating with college staff to align priorities.

Competenze

• Three years in fundraising or related work experience such as high-level sales, marketing or constituent based outreach.
• Working in an environment dependent on developing and maintaining positive relationships.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through grant writing, sponsorship proposals and other fundraising initiatives.
• Focus on securing gifts of $25,000 or higher.
• Collaborate with program staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and impact goals.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy, applying relevant knowledge to enhance the organization’s fundraising strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.
