The company seeks a Lead Industrial Maintenance Safety professional to develop and enforce a comprehensive safety program for maintenance, engineering, and contractor personnel.

The role focuses on strategy development, standards enforcement, training, incident investigations, and continuous improvement to reduce incidents and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety/engineering/industrial hygiene.
• 8+ years of EHS experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environments, with 3–5 years leading maintenance safety programs or teams.
• Certifications such as CSP/CIH/CHST desirable; NFPA 70E and OSHA 500/501 preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain the maintenance safety management system and related policies and work controls.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local regulations and company EHS policies.
• Lead safety strategy for maintenance activities, including risk assessment and contractor management.
• Deliver safety training programs (LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, PPE, hazard communication).
• Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis; drive corrective actions and closure.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; enforce corrective actions.
• Monitor safety metrics and report to senior leadership; drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, reliability, procurement, and contractors to integrate safety into planning.
