Job summary

The Bama Companies is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead a centralized strategy across its manufacturing footprint. This role drives reliability-centered initiatives, modernizes maintenance practices, and champions data-driven asset management to reduce R&M costs and improve uptime.

You will partner with Plant Managers and key departments to ensure maintenance aligns with operational and financial goals, while acting as a hands-on change agent and people leader across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Operations, or related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated success reducing maintenance costs while improving equipment reliability and uptime.
• Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Experience implementing or significantly improving CMMS.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, spare-parts management, and maintenance KPIs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and establish standardized processes across multiple locations.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to connect maintenance decisions to business results.
• Experience working in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized maintenance strategy across manufacturing operations.
• Modernize maintenance to improve reliability, uptime and reduce costs.
• Implement data-driven asset management with predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Plant Managers, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Establish standardized maintenance processes across multiple facilities.
• Act as hands-on change agent and people leader.
• Reports to Vice President of Operations.
