The Bama Companies, Inc. is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead the development and execution of a centralized maintenance strategy across our manufacturing operations.
This role focuses on modernizing the maintenance organization, improving equipment reliability and uptime, and establishing consistent maintenance standards. You will partner with Plant Managers, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to align maintenance with business objectives.

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt Employment Type: Full Time
Description: The Director of Maintenance will lead the development and execution of a centralized maintenance strategy across The Bama Companies' manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for modernizing Bama's maintenance organization, improving equipment reliability and uptime, reducing repair and maintenance (R&M) costs, and establishing consistent maintenance systems, standards, and accountability across all facilities.
This leader will bring a proactive, reliability-centered approach to maintenance-moving the organization from a primarily reactive model toward predictive and preventive maintenance, disciplined planning and scheduling, effective root-cause analysis, and data-driven asset management.
The Director will partner closely with Plant Managers, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure maintenance strategy directly supports Bama's operational, financial, quality, and customer-service objectives.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on change agent and strong people leader who can establish a common maintenance philosophy across multiple facilities while respecting the unique needs of each operation.
