Our team is seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to join our talented staff at our long-term care facility.
Responsible for all maintenance department operations and personnel, ensuring the facility is safe, well-maintained, and equipped to provide exceptional care to our residents.
Regularly inspect the facility to ensure compliance with State/Federal and OSHA standards, as well as to identify and address any maintenance needs.
Supervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks and repairs.
Coordinate department operations, budgets, and expenditures, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide oversight of maintenance/repairs and ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashion.
Maintain records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspections, providing accurate and timely information to management and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, or carpentry, and general maintenance knowledge.
Prior supervisory experience in a Healthcare maintenance setting. SNF experience preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality service.
Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to multi-task, stay on task, and maintain focus in stressful situations.
Evidence of solid leadership and supervision skills.
