Redwood Logistics seeks a Director of LTL Services (Managed Services) to oversee and optimize our LTL operations with a $400M spend. This remote US leadership role requires a strategic thinker with deep LTL knowledge and a track record of improving service and lowering costs.

The position demands 10+ years in LTL transportation, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, and expertise in carrier networks, pricing, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in LTL transportation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing large-scale LTL spend, ideally at or above $100M.
• Strong knowledge of LTL carrier networks, pricing models, regulations, and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Relationship Management: establish and maintain strong partnerships with key LTL carriers and manage service agreements.
• Operational Optimization: identify improvements in routing, consolidation, and scheduling to drive efficiency.
• Cost Management: oversee and optimize the $400M LTL spend with strategic sourcing and rate negotiations.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: measure performance, identify trends, and report to senior management.
