Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Director of Loss Prevention to lead risk management across corporate and store operations in Houston, TX. You will design and execute LP programs, train staff, and partner with HR, finance, and local law enforcement to minimize loss and protect donor value.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, extensive LP background in retail or nonprofit settings, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Retail Asset Protection or Loss Prevention experience is required.
• LPQ/LPC certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV, alarm monitoring, and access control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement LP policies and procedures across corporate and stores.
• Train staff on LP programs and strategies and monitor effectiveness.
• Conduct audits and investigations to minimize losses and identify risk points.
• Collaborate with HR, Internal Audit, and leadership to resolve incidents.
