Job summary

FAST RETAILING CO., LTD. is seeking a Loss Prevention Agent in Houston, TX to manage loss prevention and safety initiatives across the store. You will ensure policy adherence, train employees on procedures, and respond to alarms as needed to protect people and assets.

The role requires strong communication, ability to detain shoplifters when necessary, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. Prior LP experience is preferred and the company offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to physically apprehend and detain shoplifters.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications; i.e.: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Experience in conducting investigations preferred.
• 1-2 years of retail Loss Prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full knowledge of LP/safety policy, procedure and standards.
• Train store employees on LP policy and procedure and ensure compliance.
• Train store employees on safety policy and procedure and ensure compliance.
• Detect and capture shoplifters according to company protocol.
• Monitor potential employee theft suspicions.
• Partner with LP Manager to address concerns.
• Prepare incident reports, accident reports and investigative reports.
• Assist management in investigations of policy violations.
• Communicate and support shortage reduction initiatives such as audits and inventories.
• Offer recommendations to potential loss/safety concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of investigations and outcomes.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Respond to alarm calls as needed.
