Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a hands-on Director of Logistics to build and lead an evolving logistics operation in the Navasota/Houston area. This newly created role focuses on balancing internal capabilities with 3PL partnerships to optimize transportation, warehousing, inventory, and customer delivery experiences.

The successful candidate will own demo inventory management, drive process improvements, and implement scalable systems while partnering across Finance, Operations, and Sales to deliver

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, or operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing freight expenditures, logistics budgets, transportation P&Ls, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong experience managing inbound and outbound transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and professionalisation of the company’s logistics strategy, processes, systems, reporting, and standards.
• Own assigned logistics-related P&L accounts and develop budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Oversee inbound and outbound transportation operations and manage 3PL relationships.
• Take ownership of demo inventory management and asset tracking across locations.
