Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Director, Product Manager for the Loan Enablement Platform in New York City. You will shape product strategy across lending, digital assets, and intelligent workflows, translating opportunities into scalable platform capabilities with a focus on loans, tokenisation, blockchain, and AI.

You will own the strategic backlog, collaborate with senior stakeholders across product, engineering, operations and control, and drive end-to-end lifecycle from discovery through rollout.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product management or related leadership roles.
• Strong backlog ownership and roadmap prioritization in agile environments.
• Ability to translate strategy into clear product outcomes and delivery direction.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing value, risk, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Define product direction for a broad capability set within the Loans Enablement Platform.
• Own strategic backlog prioritization aligned to business objectives and regulatory considerations.
• Document strategic-level product requirements with clear scope and outcomes.
• Translate strategy and opportunities into roadmap direction and executable priorities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across product, engineering, operations and control.
• Evaluate opportunities with a commercial, strategic, and operational lens.
• Oversee lifecycle from discovery to rollout and optimization.
• Build business cases for platform investments and innovations.
• Identify modernization opportunities with workflows and digital capabilities.
• Use market intelligence and data to inform prioritization and decisions.
• Ensure work complies with governance, legal, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
• Provide thought leadership on innovation themes like loans, tokenisation, blockchain, AI.
