Job summary

Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries is seeking a Learning & Development Director to lead all training initiatives. You will design and deliver learning programs, manage the GoodwillU LMS, and collaborate with leaders to foster a culture of continuous development aligned with our mission.

This senior role drives strategy, oversight, and partnerships across the organization. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in L&D with supervision, and expertise in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Five years of progressive L&D experience, with at least two in a supervisory role
• Experience with LMS administration and eLearning tools preferred
• CPTD/SHRM-CP or equivalent certifications a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver learning programs in instructor-led and online formats
• Oversee the GoodwillU LMS, including maintenance, tracking, reporting, and communications
• Coach department heads and managers on development pathways and opportunities
• Manage strategic vendor partnerships to enhance employee development
• Promote a culture of continuous learning aligned with the mission and values of HOT Goodwill
