Job summary

QPS, LLC is seeking a Business Development Director for the Eastern US region. This full-time, home-based role focuses on late-phase clinical trials and related services, with up to 50% travel and heavy client engagement to expand our CRO footprint.

You will develop opportunities across clinical conduct, data management, medical writing, and Biostatistics, building strategic partnerships and closing deals with major accounts. Compensation reflects senior sales leadership within a global CRO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep CRO business development experience with a proven track record in late-phase clinical trials.
• Knowledge of the drug development/clinical trial industry and key contacts.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, generate and develop new leads/business opportunities for late‑phase services across the Eastern US region.
• Network and build relationships at key accounts to drive growth.
• Drive sales to closure in collaboration with Operations.
• Meet or exceed annual proposal and sales targets as determined by Management.
• Travel up to 50% for conferences, client sites, and QPS facilities.
• Maintain clear records across CRM, proposals, and contract workflow.
