Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare experience in an acute care setting.
• 3+ years of recent leadership experience in an acute care setting.
• Current registered nurse license in state(s) of practice.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, FHM, RNC-OB preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education; Master’s degree preferred; Nursing degree preferred.

• Manage the function, staffing, and budget monitoring of the labor and delivery unit
• Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory standards, and care protocols
• Optimize patient throughput and delivery of patient-centered care
• Foster interdisciplinary communication and collaboration within the unit and across departments
• Direct labor and delivery nursing practice and develop nursing standards
• Instill a culture of accountability for positive patient interactions
• Elevate the patient experience through feedback mechanisms and strategic initiatives
• Enhance employee engagement, recognition, and professional development
• Collaborate with administrative team and physicians to enhance labor and delivery services
