$130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Position: Full time - Director of Nursing (Labor and Delivery)

Salary Range: $130k-$140k based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Job Summary

Seeking a Director of Nursing for Labor & Delivery, responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and delegating patient care during hospitalization. Provides leadership and overall responsibility for clinical units. We are a supportive team that values patient care highly. Apply now!

Key Responsibilities

• The Director reports to the Senior Director, Vice President, and/or Chief Nursing Officer.
• Accountable 24/7 for 143 staff, 40-50 beds, and patient care management in assigned units.
• Serve as liaison between physicians and the care team, working cooperatively with administrators, staff, and other stakeholders to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, plan and implement changes, and evaluate outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Recent RN acute care experience of at least three years.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum 5 years of L&D experience in an acute care setting.
• At least 2 years of management experience in L&D in an acute care setting.

Must have L&D experience; experience in other units is not acceptable.
