Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks an experienced Nursing Director – Labor and Delivery in San Antonio, TX, to lead daily operations, staff, resources, and quality initiatives within the department.

This role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality outcomes in a dynamic obstetric setting. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Texas RN license, BLS, and 5+ years in the nursing specialty with 3–5 years of progressive management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 5+ years of experience in the nursing specialty/discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive management experience preferred.
• Current Texas RN license required.
• Active BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Labor & Delivery operations and nursing staff.
• Manage department budgets, staffing, resources, and equipment.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and evaluate staff.
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and performance outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor department performance and use data to improve operations.
• Address staffing, performance, and employee development needs.
• Promote efficient workflows, cost management, and service excellence.
