Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks an LIS Director to drive development of people, processes, and solutions for life sciences laboratory operations. You will supervise staff, set schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional activities across critical client environments.

You will engage with client management, optimize technology use, and mentor teams to deliver measurable performance improvements while upholding CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional teams and communicate expectations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision and develop staff through coaching and evaluations.
• Coordinate daily activities, schedule work, and cross-train team members.
• Serve as account-level representative managing KPIs, vendor relationships, and compliance.
• Oversee budget development and expenditures for tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Leverage technology to enhance service delivery and drive strategy.
• Engage with client management and end-users to ensure open communication.
• Lead by example, negotiate with partners, and solve multi-dimensional problems.
