Job summary

University of California, Berkeley is seeking an Associate Director of J.D. Admissions for Outreach and Recruitment to develop and implement student outreach, recruitment, and admissions programs for Berkeley Law.

You will market and manage the pre-law program, supporting diversity initiatives and partnerships across campus. The role includes coordinating outreach events, advising prospective applicants, and collaborating with the Communications and Events teams to raise awareness about the JD

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of advising and counseling with ability to learn academic programs and financial aid.
• Ability to communicate policies to prospective students and the public.
• Experience developing recruitment programs and outreach events.
• Ability to travel nationally for outreach and recruitment events.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements programs for student outreach, recruitment, and admissions for Berkeley Law.
• Markets, manages, and evaluates the pre-law outreach program for undergraduates and others.
• Plans engagement events including Fall Open House and orientation activities.
• Liaises with departments to plan yield events for admitted students and alumni.
• Tracks outcomes with data and supports diversity initiatives in outreach and admissions.
