Job summary

Cardone Training Technologies (CTTI) seeks a Director of Information Technology to own our internal technology function end-to-end across Florida and Arizona. This senior leadership role sets strategy, standards, and the multi-year roadmap, balancing risk, security, and investment with hands-on execution during critical incidents.

You will lead a 10-person IT team, manage the budget, and partner with HR and Legal to ensure data protection and compliance, while aligning IT with business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role with budget ownership.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Active Directory, MDM, AWS, and Google Workspace.
• Experience presenting IT strategy and investment decisions to executive/C-suite audiences.
• Experience owning IT security and compliance standards, including access governance and incident response.
• Experience building and scaling an IT organization with multi-team ownership.
• Willing and able to work hands-on during incidents and major projects.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal technology strategy and multi-year infrastructure roadmap across locations.
• Serve as the senior voice on internal technology at the leadership table and translate needs for executives.
• Own the IT budget: justify investments, track spend, and optimize without compromising security.
• Define the boundary between internal IT and client-facing tech, focusing on data security and compliance.
• Own the performance of a 10-person IT team, including hiring and coaching.
• Scale the org by adding a manager layer as headcount grows.
• Establish service standards and SLAs for internal support across all locations.
• Stay hands-on on complex issues, incidents, and major projects when needed.
• Oversee core tech stack: VMware, AD, MDM, AWS, Google Workspace.
• Maintain IT security and data protection standards with HR and Legal on sensitive issues.
• Ensure IT compliance across Florida and Arizona operations.
• Evaluate and select new systems, tools, and vendors for reliability and cost.
