Job summary

DNSFilter is seeking a Director of IT in our Tampa, FL office. This hands-on leadership role will own identity, endpoints, and employee technology, running Okta, Google Workspace, Mosyle, and JumpCloud while leading one Senior IT Support Analyst.

You will be accountable for actual access revocation and security posture, reporting to the SVP of Operations. The role is full-time, hybrid in Tampa, with growth opportunities and a focus on automation, cost control, and cross-department collaboration

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT, including 2+ years leading an internal IT function.
• Hands-on experience administering an enterprise identity provider (Okta).
• Hands-on Apple MDM experience at fleet scale (Mosyle or Jamf).
• Experience owning Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience owning hardware asset lifecycle, including inventory and retirement.
• Experience owning IT budget, vendor contracts, and software licensing.
• Proven onboarding, offboarding, and change management lifecycle.
• Experience operating IT controls under SOC 2 or similar.
• Ability to communicate clearly with executives about risk and actions.
• Located in Tampa, FL area and able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own Okta day-to-day: user administration, MFA, and lifecycle rules.
• Own Google Workspace administration and directory hygiene.
• Own onboarding/offboarding lifecycle end-to-end and revocation timing.
• Define access model for contractors and BYOD with Security.
• Reduce manual access requests via automation and self-service.
• Own Mosyle for Apple and JumpCloud for other endpoints.
• Maintain fleet inventory and enforce DNSFilter Roaming Client.
• Own hardware lifecycle end-to-end and asset reconciliation.
• Publish a service catalog and manage Zendesk helpdesk.
