Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Director of IT Platform and Services to lead enterprise platforms, infrastructure, network, identity, and SRE. This hands-on leadership role reports to the CTO and guides multi-year strategy, budget, and vendor management while driving reliability, security, and cost-to-serve as the company scales.

You will champion AI, automation, and FinOps practices, build a high-performance team, and partner with field and office leaders to translate priorities into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/related field; eight years of progressive IT leadership can substitute
• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in leadership and 3+ years managing through managers
• Experience owning end-to-end IT operations in multi-site hybrid environments
• Experience budgeting and vendor management with a track record of reducing cost-to-serve
• Proven ability to automate infrastructure with AI, automation, and IaC
• Experience building ITIL and SRE practices for mission-critical services
• Demonstrated ability to lead through growth, M&A diligence, and post-close integration
• Fluency with generative AI and guardrail setting aligned with policy
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud/SaaS, IAM/CIAM, and security fundamentals
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year strategy and roadmap for platforms, infrastructure, IAM, and SRE
• Lead IT Platform and Services leadership team through managers
• Ensure availability, security, resilience, and cost of enterprise platforms
• Oversee LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, voice, and contact centers
• Establish SRE practices with SLIs/SLAs and post-incident reviews
• Champion AI and automation with measurable toil reduction
• Manage operating/capital budgets and FinOps for cloud/SaaS
• Partner with CISO on access governance and risk
• Govern project portfolio with KPI scorecards for visibility
• Lead IT diligence and integration for acquisitions
• Translate business priorities into roadmaps; build trusted partnerships
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams with AI fluency
