Job summary

Altek Inc is seeking a Director of IS/IT to lead technology strategy, manage business systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support operations. The role involves translating business priorities into practical technology plans, building an IS/IT team, and delivering projects with clear business outcomes.

It requires coordinating with department heads to standardize processes and enable sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible IS/IT experience, including leadership.
• Experience supporting manufacturing ERP systems and major improvements.
• Knowledge of manufacturing workflows, costing and financial reporting.
• Budget, vendor management and cross-functional project leadership.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC readiness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop multiyear technology roadmap aligned with strategy and resources.
• Establish IS/IT policies, standards, and system ownership.
• Lead IS/IT personnel and develop training plans.
• Oversee ERP platform administration and lifecycle planning.
• Coordinate ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Manage security controls and incident response readiness.
• Develop reliable reporting and dashboards for decision-making.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and service agreements.
