Job summary

Republic Airways seeks an IT leadership executive to guide strategic and operational software engineering as part of a major digital transformation. The role reports to the CIO and oversees architecture, development, QA, and lifecycle management across multiple portfolios.

You will drive security, reliability, and efficiency, elevating IT to a strategic partnership with business stakeholders, and champion emerging technologies, including AI, to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years enterprise IT leadership responsible for critical platforms.
• Experience delivering transformational changes in regulated environments (aviation/transportation).

Responsibilities

• Clearly represent technical capabilities to business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate risk, delivery tradeoffs, and operational impact into recommendations for senior leaders.
• Lead system lifecycle across SDLC and curate portfolio roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Stay current on evolving technology trends and AI applications for operational efficiency.
• Manage cost and maximize value across IT investments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
